Soft computing methods such as neural networks, fuzzy logic, problematic reasoning in reservoir characterization, dynamic reservoir modeling, oilfield data integration and analysis of uncertainty in prediction.
Recommended Preparation: Basic Python programming on the level of DSCI 510 ; familiarity with platforms for running Python programs, such as online via Google Colab or JupyterLab, or the downloadable Anaconda
