EE 575 Computational Differential Geometry for Engineers

Units: 4
Differential geometry of curves and surfaces, manifolds, Riemannian metric, Lie groups, numerical PDEs, heat and Laplace equation, shape analysis, level-set method, persistent homology, manifold/geometric learning.
Recommended Preparation: Calculus on the level of MATH 229 , programming (Matlab or C++) on the level of EE 155  or CSCI 103
