Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering Degree

The Mork Family Department of Chemical Engineering offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. Additionally, there are four possible areas of emphasis within this chemical engineering program major. These are: biological and pharmaceutical engineering (134 units); materials engineering (134 units); energy and sustainability (134 units); petroleum and subsurface engineering (134 units). Emphasis in Energy and Sustainability

The requirement for the Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with an Emphasis in Energy and Sustainability is 134 units. A cumulative grade point average of C (2.0) is required for all upper-division courses applied toward the major, regardless of the department in which the courses are taken. In addition to the common requirements:
