The Master of Science in Manufacturing Engineering program prepares students to work in the manufacturing industry by providing them with the skills and knowledge necessary to design and operate modern factories. The program includes courses that introduce the latest manufacturing technologies and, based on such technologies, project-based learning opportunities in the form of industry case studies.
The program requires a minimum of 28 units.

Mathematical Core
4 units of Applied Mathematics course work. Choose from: Manufacturing Core
16 units of Manufacturing core courses. Choose four courses from: Electives
8 units of 400- or 500-level elective course work from AME or other engineering departments. - No more than 4 units can be taken at the 400-level
- No more than 4 units of AME 590 Directed Research may taken as elective credit
