State-space Models. Equilibrium points. Limit Cycles. Linearization. Nonlinear Phenomena. Lyapunov Stability. Analysis and Design of Nonlinear Systems. Passivity. Backstepping. Feedback and Input-Output Linearization.
Prerequisite: EE 585 
Recommended Preparation: Beneficial (but not required): classical control (at the level of EE 482  or equivalent) and some prior exposure to Matlab and/or Simulink. Background in probability (at level of EE 503  or equivalent).
Duplicates Credit in AME 552
