MATH 466 Dynamic Modeling

Formulation and study of models arising in population dynamics, growth of plankton, pollution in rivers, highway traffic, morphogenesis and tidal dynamics: stability, oscillations, bifurcations, chaos. The lab will consist of computer simulation of models using commercially available software.
Prerequisite: MATH 225  or MATH 245 .
