MATH 580 Introduction to Functional Analysis

Basic functional analysis in Banach and Hilbert spaces. Weak topologies, linear operators, spectral theory, calculus of vector-valued functions. Banach algebras.
Prerequisite: MATH 525a , MATH 525b .
