Mathematical and algorithmic foundations for decision-making and control in safety-critical contexts with a special emphasis on learning-enabled robotic and autonomous systems.
Recommended Preparation: Strongly recommended: linear controls (EE 482 or AME 451), or linear systems theory (EE 585 or AME 541), or robotics (EE 445/CSCI 445 or EE 545/CSCI 545); linear algebra (EE 141); calculus (MATH 229); programming (EE 155). Familiarity with machine learning (on the level of EE 460) is recommended.
